Juneau writer Aleria Jensen will read poems and essays from her 2010 Voices of the Wilderness residency, Friday night at the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center in Juneau. Jensen was among the first group of artists-in-residence participating in Voices of the Wilderness, a new program that began last year in the Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness. Joining her will be students Sarah Donohoe and Andrew Gregovich, who will share stories about their own Wilderness experiences as interns.

This Fireside Lecture--the last of the season--is free and open to the public.
