The US Forest Service, in partnership with the Aldo Leopold Foundation and the Center for Humans and Nature, has produced a splendid full-length documentary film about the leading conservationist of the 20th century. Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time traces the life of this remarkable man, whom generations within the Forest Service have proudly embraced as one of their own.
