Forest Ecologist awes crowd at APLIC

Feel sorry if you missed Chugach National Forest Ecologist Rob Develice give his presentation on the ecology (of course) of the Chugach and, specifically, some really cool information about the U.S. Capitol Christmas tree.

Last Friday at the Alaska Public Lands Information Center (APLIC) auditorium in downtown Anchorage, he held forth in front of a rapt audience, reeling off facts and figures almost as diverse as the Chugach itself. A beautiful sunny day outside, and the smell of hotdogs, wasn't enough to drag them away.

The bad part is that that was his last presentation for the year. We're thinking of lobbying for a TED talk.
